What today coud've been...

I know this is a little sappy, and you might be thinking, 'Tashina's not over him'. Let me clarify. Today would have been 6 years for Ronniell and I. And yes, I am over him. Today just got me thinking of how crazy my life has been in the 7 months that we've been apart. And how crazy life was when him and I first got together. Vegas baby. At a measly 15 years old. Dang.

He was a wrestler. I was a wrestlerette. I'm sure we both thought we were hot stuff. But you know, thats what boys and girls at the age of 15 think of themselves. Obliviously to the fact that there was a future ahead of us that we never would have imagined at the time. We fell in love. No, I didn't know what love was then. And quite frankly, I'm not sure if I even know what love is now. But him and I, were unseperable during high school. And even more when we were out of high school. Ever high school dance I'd ever gone to was with him.

I'll never forget the day I turned 16. My mom and him were terrible at panning my sweet 16 suprize party. I was afraid of getting in trouble, so when I had picked him up to come hang out with my family, i kinda rushed him so I wouldn't get the "look" from my mom. I showed up with Ronniell at my house 5 minutes too early. With all of my friends arriving, 5 minutes too late. It was hilarious. And so sweet that they were actually trying to suprize me. That day at school, I'll never forget either, when Dayna Penrod (now Arnell) came up to me and said, be sure to let him know that he was infact my first realy boyfriend. And my first kiss. I blushed knowing what she had ment by that, because we were not able to date anyone before we were 16. (Of course the trouble maker I was, 15 and 1/2 was quite old enough in my mind).

It makes me smile and it makes me sad all at the same time thinking of this day. And especially writing it here at work at 3 in the morning. But, I will not be negative. And I will not moap around about this day. I always hear and still hear my peers say, you really do change as a person from when your in high school, to your adult hood and college years. I've come to know this as a fact. People change, and they grow apart. This unfortunately happened for me and Ronniell. 5 1/2 years ago I lost my best friend and the love of my life. (Per, my choice). But it was time.

Don't be sad for me. December 15 just brings back alot of old memories. And I wanted to share with you, because if I didn't, I would be sleeping right now at work due to complete bordem. HAHA. Dang. One stinkin post and I really wanted it to end serious without my sarcasm in it! HA Oh well.

NFC West Chamipons BABY!!!!

On Sunday I was able to go to the Cardinals game with a few girls from work. Thanks Shannon for having season tickets and inviting ME to tag along! It was such a blast! And now that I'm able to post pictures, I might just have to post more often on my life in general! :) I just have to tell everyone that whoever didn't watch this game, you missed out! Ahhh! It was such a fun game! And not to metion....We ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS BABY!!! :) YAY!!!

We decided to do the whole tailgating thing. It was FREZZING! But tons of fun. And since it was us 4 girls, we were putting up our little tailgating tent and some macho men thought we needed help setting it up. (we were doing JUST FINE). We had tons of drinks, but unfortunately the food was so dang good that made us extremely full and we didn't even feel like drinking much after that! Dang it!

Not to mention, after the game we got to experience the coolest drunk guy ever jumping down onto the field, (because he thought he was so cool) and wanted to celebrate WITH the team, that he was so cool to get arrested in front of Thousands of people. Way to go retard. OH, and I have those pictures on my camera also. I will post them soon. What a cool guy. :)


The end this post I need to apologize to my lover Matt. Any of you who know me, I love Matt Leinart. Yes he may be a slut, but deep down, the boy really does care about me :). HAHA. I have to say Sorry to him for not getting his jersey to wear to the game. He really disappointed me this season by losing his spot as starting quarterback. Though, I do love Kurt Warner and I am so happy that he is the starting quarterback and has gotten the team so far this season.
Instead, I decided to get my man's, (other man) jersey. #34 Tim Hightower's jersey. I love him. And I know that he's gonna do great in the seasons to come!

Hanging out with Kayle

First of all, I absolutely love this kid. Kayle is my cousin Misti's daughter. Boy does she crack me up! I was hanging out with Misti before I came to work today. We went to watch the Cardinals game against the Giants (sad game) at Buffalo Wild Wings and Kayle insisted she come with us. While we were there the energetic child reminded me very quickly of why I don't have kids yet. She actually wasn't that bad though, really. haha We got back to her house and she wanted me to go color with her in her room. Pretending like I was 3 years old again, I start coloring with her. And she starts to tell me something that had happened...

Kayle: "My daddy took my candy away from me"
Tashina: "Well why did he do that? Where you eating too much of it?"
K: I don't know why he took it away!
T: Hmm, I'm not sure either Kayle. That wasn't very nice of him
K: Yeah, i think you need to spank my daddy!

HAHAHAHA! WOW! She's too funny. I was laughing so hard. Needless to say, I let her know that I wasn't gonna spank her daddy because that would be mean. Plus very inappropriate.

30 minutes later...Misti went to the bathroom to do some laundry and locked the door behind her. Kayle started to act 3 years old and was whining saying "I WANT MY MOMMY!" Eventually I got her to calm down and we started playing and I was "scaring her". More or less i was chasing her around the couch. I finally came up with the idea of scaring her mom when she came out of bathroom. She was thrilled! So we stood behind the door for a good 5 mintues. I told her she had to be VERY quiet so her mom couldn't hear us, and that way we could scare her really good! She actually listened. Nathan started whistling while we were trying to be sneaking and Kayle snapped, 'DADDY! SHHHH!!! We're going to scare mommy!" Haha I was laughing the whole time and kayle had a smirk on her face, hands up and ready to really scare her mom. A few minutes had passed and finally Misti comes walking out the bathroom door. I picked Kayle up to get her to really jump out at her mom, yelling RRRAAAARRRR!!!! Who'da thought, Misti actually jumped!!!! Kayle started laughing hysterically, I was laughing Nathan was laughing, and Misti seemed kind of embarrassed so she started to laugh. I gave Kayle a high five and said "YAY Kayle we scared your mom good!" She was so proud of herself.

I just love that little girl. I've been around her since the day she was born and can't get enough of her. When I told her I had to leave and go to work she wasn't very happy. She came running right behind me and said NNNOOOO Shina don't go!!! HAHA I love it. There are days when I think that I'm never going to have kids. Ask my dad. I tell him every other time I talk to him and let him know that he won't be having any grandkids from me. He doesn't really like that coming from me. But Today hanging out with Kayle are one of those days that I feel like I can really see myself having kids and actually being a great mom. I love that feeling.

Twilight!

So I went and saw the Twilight movie last night and LOVED IT! I wasn't as disappointed as I thought I would be. Though, I kinda was annoyed that Stephanie Meyer was in in for a split second but really hasn't she gotten enough fame from all of this? We just made her a multi-millionaire for crying out loud! Oh well. Moving on. For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, GO SEE IT! Biggest fans of mine are, Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob, Soley for the fact that he's pretty much HOT. It's a shame that he's 16. (BTW, Tiana, he really is only 16. I cried) haha jk. And my all time FAVORITE VAMPIRE IS....Kellan Lutz. He plays Emmett. And he is beautiful. To my advantage, he's 23 in real life. So i won't go to jail for crushing on him. At least he's legal. :) HAHAHA.

ThE tWiLiGhT mOvIe!!!

The countdown is practically over people! YAY!!! I'm at work again which in a few hours I'll be getting off and be able to get some sleep. Which will make this day go back even quicker so I can go and see this dang movie! For all of those who have no yet gettgen tickets, I'm sorry but your time is probably run out by now. I'm heading to the San Tan mall tonight around 10:30 to line up for this sold out movie. Which by the way, the last time I checked, They had reserved 4 theatres just to show the midnight showing! Call me obsessed but, I'd like to get a great seat for this movie and if waiting in line is what it takes, well shoot, I'm there! :) I totally cannot wait to tell everyone about it. Although, the previews aren't showing exactly what my imagination has made up to be, but I'm sure it will still be great!

Twilight update!

Alrighty I'm at work again, working on 2 hours of sleep in a 48 hr period. Drinking my AMP energy drink at the moment, but for all you twilighters...I WENT TO SEE TAYLOR LAUTNER! Yummy. haha He's a 16 yr old darn it! haha Aww man it was the best day ever. 14 and 15 yr old going crazy and having anxiety attcks before meeting the actors. While my brilliant self decided that instead of a picture (while I was unsuccessul to sneak one) I was going to have them personalize my poster and write my name on it. HAHA! And seriously? How many Tashina's are there in this world? Yeah probably not many. Guess that HOT 16 year old Taylor Lautner will be remembering me forever. I'm thinking as soon as he's of legal age he'll come around :). hahaha jk. K anyone with steps to posting pictures let me know! I really want to show off my twilight accessories!

A little obsessed!

Do you see my posting below for the countdown for the Twilight movie? Ok, good. I love love LOVE the books. And for those of who who have no yet read them, I suggest you do. :) I've already bought my tickets for the midnight showing! haha. and FYI, Hot Topic is doing an event tomorrow in Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall to meet and greet a few of the actors and actresses from the movie at 5 PM. And guess who's going to be calling in to work tomorrow for this event? ME! The people that will be there are Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Edi Gathegi (Laurent) and Rachelle Leferve (Victoria). Ok so they aren't really my top fav on trying to meet, I'd rather meet my Edward and also Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett. Man is he something to look at! And, who cares that in real life Taylor Lautner is only 16 years old but he sure is cute! So, I'm going to make my way up to Scottsdale today and buy me a ticket for this event. They say no pictures, but I'm really going to try my hardest to sneak a few. An update of the event will be posted shortly! :)

Elections

Now that it officially over, I can confess to everyone that i didn't vote. And I still feel the same way based on Obama's win. We are screwed :) Yep that's a happy face. Because I know that either way the elections turned out that we were all doomed. I'm not bitter. It almost makes me want to study politics and try to become the first woman president. Hell, I think I have a great chance considering the choice between McCain and Obama. I hope Obama proves himself to make a change in this world. I just hope that change is for the BETTER. Oh well, this is the first and last post that I will put up on the presidential election. I'm way over it. Time to move on people! And make the best of our lives. I'm patriotical and always will be. Even if I don't have a president to follow that patriotism. God bless America! :)

Advice??

Ok so mainly I'm posting because yet again, I'm here at work and I'm bored. :) So my lease ends in April and I'm planning to finally move out on my own! :) No more roomies :( But I'm already feeling a bit lonely. hahaha! So I've been thinking about getting myself a friend. A DOG! :) YAY!! Ok so...for a single valley girl, getting ready to go to Nursing school, living on her own in a lousy apartment...what should I get?? :) Be creative people! This will be my newest best friend that has to entertain me 4 days out of the week since I only work 3 days a week. :) I brought u[ the fact to some of my coworkers and already one of them is calling me the new "Paris" Oh hell no will I be carrying my little pet in a designer purse, just so they can pee in it. Who does that!! And that is why I think Paris is dumb. haha j/k. Oh, and if anyone has advice on blind dating. Yeah, it would be helpful for me. I have a blind date with an old coworker's son. EEek! SCARY!

I now understand why...

I know I know, yet I still lack pictures of my life for you all to enjoy and laugh at...I have reached a point of complete bordem here at work. (Yet again!) Sorry for no pictures. I'm better off with the whole myspace thing. It seems to be much easier. :) But to the point of my random blog post, I have been tempted by other postings on how great the Twilight series is...to actually by the first book. All I have to say is WOW!!! If any of you know me at all, I am not at all a book reader. I hate reading. Mainly because I can find better things to do with my time other then sitting and reading all day long. Yet this book is exactly what I WANT to be doing all day long! I almost even cancelled a night out with some friend just to stay home, but then I realized I was being a bit of a nerd. But, I have to say...Twilight is an awesome book! For those of you who have no gone out and bought it and read it...DO!!! The movie comes on in theatre on November 21st! YAY!!! BTW, it seems to be the new rumor, that the Twilight series is suposed to be bigger then Harry Potter! I'm not a fan on Harry Potter, but that seriously has to say something for itself. :)

P.S. One more hour until I get off of work! :)

Aww I love my co-workers

Ok ok I know. My blog is very boring right now because I don't know how to put picture son this thing. And i don't have much free time to write about myself, except for the free time I get while I'm at work. I feel very proud right now. I was in my patients room giving the baby girl her first bath, as my co-worker Rebecca asked me if I was going to be caring for babies once I am done with nursing school. I said yes of course!! :) She said "good, you will make a great nurse for babies. you are so gentle with them" AWWW!!! How sweet is that! Here I am thinking that babies aren't for me, and I feel as if I am a little rough with them sometimes. And she tells me that I'm perfect for a job caring with babies! :) I love it. A few nurses have told me that I am going to be a great mom. HA! Gosh I sure hope so. For now, I'll continue my birth control with babysitting all of my friends kids and also spending time with all of my babies that I get to care for as they enter the world. I love my job! :)
